Dr Nancy Auyeung

Dr. Nancy Auyeung received her Bachelor of Science (Dentistry) and Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1992 from the University of Manitoba. She has maintained a private dental practice in Winnipeg for over 32 years. Dr. Auyeung has contributed as dental practitioner, educator, mentor, advocate and volunteer for organized dentistry and dental initiatives to support the dental profession that she is proud to be a part of.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Auyeung is a clinical instructor at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry and also serves as the appointed Director of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Dentistry/Dental Hygiene at the University of Manitoba, a leadership role in developing continuing education for dental professionals. Her passion and commitment to serve dentistry continues in her work with various dental stakeholder organizations, including President of the Manitoba Dental Association in 2015, current President for the University of Manitoba Dental Alumni Association, a past Board of Director and Examiner for the National Dental Examining Board of Canada, a Member Representative for the Canadian Dental Regulatory Authorities Federation, the Canadian Dental Association, the Manitoba Dental Foundation, and a current Board of Director for the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.

In recognition for her extensive involvement in the profession of dentistry, Dr. Auyeung has been honored with Fellowship in the International College of Dentists in which she currently serves as the Deputy Regent for the Manitoba Section, the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy in which she currently serves as the Chair for the PFA Western Provinces.

Nancy is a mother to three sons and maintains her home and a private dental practice in Winnipeg, with her husband (a fellow Manitoba dental graduate) and enjoys skiing, baking and cottage life.
